Marketing and Events Co-ordinator - nasen
The Marketing and Events Co-ordinator will work closely with the project management and marketing teams as well as other stakeholders to contribute to the overall success of online and offline events.

Salary: £29,830.86 per annum
Hours: Full-time (will consider part-time applications)
Location: Hybrid working arrangement, home working & London or Tamworth Office (2 days per week) with occasional travel

We’re looking for someone who can confidently plan, coordinate and deliver both online and in-person events, while also supporting broader marketing efforts. You’ll be instrumental in enhancing brand awareness, driving engagement, and supporting our strategic communications with the education workforce and stakeholders across the country.
This is a full-time role (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday), but we welcome part-time applications. The successful candidate will work within our hybrid working policy, with a blend of home working and office time in either London or Tamworth, plus monthly travel for events and team activities.

About the role
As Marketing and Events Co-ordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting nasen’s events. You will:
Plan, organise and deliver a range of online and in-person training events
Draft engaging communications and promotional content
Coordinate logistics, including venue bookings, catering and tech setup
Provide excellent customer service to attendees
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align event goals with our strategic objectives
Support marketing campaigns, email communications and website updates
Evaluate event success and contribute to continuous improvement
You’ll need to be a confident communicator with strong writing skills, experience in event coordination, and a genuine interest in education and inclusion.

Role Objectives
This role is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing initiatives and live events. This role requires a mix of creativity, organisational skills, and attention to detail to manage campaigns, events, and other marketing efforts that enhance brand awareness and engagement.
The Marketing and Events Co-ordinator will work closely with the project management and marketing teams as well as other stakeholders to contribute to the overall success of online and offline events, enhancing the organisation's reputation and achieving its strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
To support the Communications Manager with day-to-day admin tasks
Responsible for supporting the planning, organising, and delivering a variety of online and offline events.
Using Zoom and Teams to set up and deliver online CPD events for education professionals.
To send out communications for events such as invitations, joining instructions, and targeted follow-up surveys.
Assist with the preparation and distribution of event materials, such as invitations, speaker agreements, agendas, and promotional items.
Support the event planning process by coordinating logistics, including venue bookings and catering if needed.
Assist with the setup and teardown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and materials are in place and functioning.
Manage event-related correspondence, including coordinating invitations, registration forms, and survey responses, collating all information and providing timely updates to management
Collect and organise feedback from attendees, vendors, and team members.
Preparation of post-event reports and analysis using Salesforce CRM.
Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for future events.
To support mail-outs, mass email circulations and other communications
Update event information on the organisation’s website and other online platforms.
Provide management and oversight during events, anticipating and planning for different scenarios, and problem-solving where necessary
Provide customer service to event attendees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Support the Whole School SEND Head of Programmes and the Head of Marketing with administrative tasks as and when required

To contribute to the wider activity of the charity when required, including events, team away days, and other strategic priorities.
To undertake relevant training and development, as required.
To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required, appropriate to the grade of the post, as agreed with the Communications Manager.
The post-holder will need to adopt a flexible approach to support WSS work. This role may require some working outside of office hours and occasionally at weekends. The post-holder will be based in the Central London office or the Tamworth office and will also be required to travel to events within England when required.

Knowledge and Experience
Experience in marketing, event coordination, or a related role.
Experience working with event planning and digital marketing tools.
Proven track record of coordinating successful events or marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of or interest in the current educational landscape.
