Pharmacy Dispenser

Location: Shergill Pharmacy, 36 Caldon Rd, Irvine, Ayrshire, KA12 0RF, Scotland

Contract: Zero-Hours Contract

Hourly Rate: £13 per hour

We are currently seeking 2 motivated and reliable Dispensing Assistants to join our team at Shergill Pharmacy.

The Pharmacy is open Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-1:00pm. The successful candidate will work all these hours and must be available every Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.

·        Receive prescription orders and ensure all necessary information is complete and accurate.

·        Label and package medications with attention to detail and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

·        Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.

·        Maintain pharmacy inventory and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

·        Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing.

·        Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

·        Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
