Location: Portlethen, Aberdeen (hybrid/flexible options)
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000
Contract: Permanent, part-time or full time available (flexible working options available)

We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Technician to carry out quality control checks on all incoming and outgoing material, reporting results and troubleshooting any anomalies. Laboratory Technicians responsibilities are the basic laboratory management such as stock takes, ordering, inspections and calibrations.

Your Mission

• Work safely and effectively in a laboratory environment.

• Performs QC testing on raw materials and formulated products.

• Perform daily and weekly QC equipment calibrations as required.

• Prepares and packages samples and equipment for sample dispatch.

• Log all incoming and outgoing samples.

What We’re Looking For 

• Degree in Chemistry or similar field is preferred, or 1-2 years' experience in a laboratory environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  

• Excellent organisational skills. 

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
